The End of the Beginning

Ahh, my first ever blog post. I have debated for quite some time about whether or not to begin a blog. I'm not sure I have anything very earth shattering to share. However, I enjoy reading a number of blogs, and I love the idea of having a record of the ins and outs of my everyday life. I used to keep a written diary, but I haven't in a long time.

My friend Alto2 recently posted the following quote from Sir Winston Churchill in her blog The Testosterone Zone.
Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is,
perhaps, the end of the beginning.
I thought it was rather appropriate to describe my thoughts about embarking on this blogging adventure. As I mentioned, I've been contemplating this for months, thinking of names, considering the ramifications of putting my ideas out on the web, wondering if I had anything worthwhile to say. So, this truly is the end of the beginning of my blogging process. I look forward to seeing where the journey will take me.

As I approach the one year anniversary of mine, I have to say that I have been pleasantly surprised! I was never one to keep a journal or diary or even enjoy writing. But I find that I observe life a little differently now. It's even been a bit of a stress relief as I immediately put out things that irk me :-) Anyway, welcome to blogland and I hope you have as much with it as I have.

LSM,

I look forward to seeing how you express yourself. I'm sure I'll discover more about you, and I have a feeling you'll discover more about you also.
